BOLT Dates & Timeline

This page outlines upcoming and past BOLT workshop sessions. BOLT runs before each semester to prepare incoming Tech Leads.

Upcoming: Summer 2026​

  • Session: Mid-August 2026 (details TBD)
  • Prepares for: Fall 2026 semester (classes begin August 19)

A May session may also be offered if there is interest. Contact oss@slu.edu for the latest information.

Session Format​

Each BOLT session covers ten themes across approximately two weeks of half-day sessions (typically 1:00-5:00 PM). A break between the two halves gives participants time for independent deep-dive work on their assigned projects. The break length varies by session, from a weekend to a full week.
